July Beauty Favourites

Summer is such a great time of year and I have enjoyed a few weddings (not mine haha), my birthday and experimenting with makeup more. I thought I would let you know what I’ve been loving throughout July! So lets get started….

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow in Birthday Suit

I really wanted a single eye shadow that I could whip on all over my lid, either on its own or paired with other eye shadows. The creamy creaseless promise is really there. It’s so easy to blend and it gives a lovely colour. I chose the shade birthday suit which isn’t too dark and you can layer it up to make it show up more. I also adore the packaging – how cute is the box! Definitely looks glam on my makeup shelf.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Coulture Pure Colour Lipstick in 10 – Beige Tribute

I’ve written a full review on this, so I won’t go into too much detail. However, it is such a dreamy colour – a pinky nude. I also love the moisturising nature and SPF 15 in it. One of my favourite lipsticks now. The subtle shimmer to it made my makeup look so pretty for being a bridesmaid recently.

Clinique Even Better Foundation in Alabaster

I have been using this foundation for years and I don’t care about that at all when it is so amazing. I think it is great value for a premium foundation and it makes my skin look so dewy. I have pale olive toned skin and the shade Alabaster is a really great match to make my face blend with my natural body skin colour. The formula blends so well and I also love liquid foundations and the feel of them on my skin. The coverage is so good too – not patchy or thin. It lasts really well also. I don’t need to reapply foundation throughout the day so long as I put a good coverage on. If you haven’t tried Clinique foundations, I really recommend them. In fact, I love the brand in general. They just seem to get skincare and makeup just right!

Sleek Face Contour Kit Light

I have heard really good things about Sleek as a brand but had never tried their products out before… until now! This contour kit is so affordable too. The colour has coral hints in, which look so pretty. The silky and matt finish is also stunning. The product is so easy to blend and the darker shades are also lovely. I chose the lightest shades to suit my untanned skin and this works really well. The packaging is also so sleek (sorry for the pun). Really easy to just slip into your makeup bag when going away travelling. This product is perfect for sculpting and highlighting… hello cheekbones!
