Being a bridesmaid was one of the most exciting things to happen to me this year. It was such a lovely wedding of my two close friends and I was so happy to be a part of it! I thought I would share my makeup look with you as it took me a while and was more elaborate to what I normally do. I thought it might be interesting to you to have a sneak peak in my makeup bag and see what I used for a special occasion. I had my hair done professionally and I felt so pampered and looked after. However, I enjoy doing my makeup and so I did my own on the day.
I used a LOT of different products on my face and whilst I wouldn’t use this much every day, I really enjoyed this makeup look. It was kind of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ as my friend described… The hair definitely played a major inspiration into the makeup and the dress was very elegant so I wanted to go along this vibe.
I bought the YSL lipstick especially for this event and I loved it to bits. The colour was such a perfect English Rose look. I had to keep reapplying but it was one from their long lasting range so it definitely had excellent coverage. I also tried out the Bobbi Brown eye liner which was risky without practice but it seemed to go OK so I was happy. I will definitely be reaching for this eye liner more as I found it quite nice to apply with the eye liner brush.
