Current Hair Must Haves

I’ve not done a hair beauty blog before but I thought I would write one as I do like looking after my hair. I have various products I use and I’ve handpicked just three to talk about. If you would like me to go into depth about what my hair routine is let me know and I could do a tutorial or something?

For now though, my three must haves are hair serum, Tangle Teezers and dry volumising spray! In particular…

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Golden Girl Oil

Tangle Teezer Hair Brush

Percy & Reed Dry Instant Volumising Spray

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Golden Girl Oil

I’ve had my hair highlighted for a few years now and with dye comes drier and more damaged hair. I have always used a serum anyway because my hair is naturally frizzy. So I thought this one looked so good for my hair! I also use an argon oil on my hair but kind of alternate depending on what I feel like. This product promises to be weightless and non-greasy and I can confirm that it is exactly that. It also smells really nice but I’m not sure what of!

The serum reduces brassy tones in bleached hair and it is so important you use products like this if you are thinking of dabbling in blonde dye. I also use a shampoo specifically blonde hair. I have noticed my hair keeping its blonde colour longer and it fades in a really natural way. I love serums and oils for rubbing through my hair in the mornings and it especially helps to tame my frizz and define my curls when I leave my hair to dry naturally. Yes, that’s right I have naturally wavy hair. I kind of wear my hair a mix of straight and curly through the year but go through phases of loving curls in the summer as it is just too hot to get out the straighteners! I only use a few pumps of the serum and rub it into my hands before running it through my hair. It also makes my hair shinier and looking healthier.

Tangle Teezer Hair Brush

Tangle Teezers are everywhere. You can get them in so many shops now. I love going to John Lewis at Oxford Street, London as they have so many there to look at. There are so many beautiful designs now. My one is purple and pink which is very me. However, I only have one and I have had it for so many years now! Maybe 5 or 6! It was a gift from one of my friends and it is probably the most used value for money gift anyone has bought me. It’s still going strong. I really want to get a travel size one for my handbag as they really are the best hair brushes I have used. The travel ones have a protective cover on them and so that is great for chucking in a handbag.

My hair can get quite knotty if I am not careful and this beautifully glides through the hair without damaging it. The Tangle Teezer is also so easy to hold and I love using it. I am a total convert to Tangle Teezers. If you have long hair and you have not tried this before, you really need to get one!

Percy & Reed Dry Instant Volumising Spray

When I had my hair cut recently, the girl used a volumising spray on it to create more texture and to style my hair. I have never thought about using a product like this before but for days when your hair is a bit flat, this is definitely a lifesaver! I just spray a little to my roots in an upwards motion and it creates more height and vibrancy. I work in the product with my hands so that the spray is evenly distributed and styled how I like it.

When I straighten my hair, sometimes my hair can get quite lifeless and this product just helps to create a bit more natural glamour. I read so many reviews before choosing the right spray and I’m glad I picked up the Percy & Reed bottle as it dries so invisibly and works a treat. I didn’t want to end up with grey/white looking spray in my hair and this invisible dry effect was a must. After using this product my hair is fuller and bouncier.

Do you use any of these products? What are your hair must haves?
