Dinner Date Makeup Look

I love creating a more special makeup look when I have more time to be creative. As I don’t wear full foundation EVERY day now, I really enjoy applying it for an evening event or dinner. My Clinique foundation never fails to impress me. It is just so beautiful on the skin and creates a flawless coverage that makes my skin look glowy and vibrant. I tried out my new Stila eye and cheeks palette and I was stunned at how beautiful the formulas were. A very versatile and excellent travel gem!

Steps…

Prep the lips with the lip butter.

Apply foundation and concealer. I apply concealer under my eyes and on any red areas. Because I am quite pale, I find the ivory shade works well on most areas of my face. Then set them with a little powder.

Apply a bit of bronzer to the cheekbones and anywhere you catch the sun. I apply it around my forehead, and the outer edges of my face. I also like to apply it under my jaw bone for more definition.

Apply blusher to the cheekbones and apples of your cheeks, bringing the product towards the side of your face.

Prime the brows and swoop through the eyebrow gel. This helps to tint and set the brows.

Blend in the eye shadow primer with your fingers on your eyelids. Use the eye shadow palette mentioned above. I applied Alluring all over the lid, Passionate in the inner corner, Glamorous in the outer corner, Dynamic in the crease and Breathtaking under the brow bone.

Apply your  mascara.

Apply the lipstick.

Finally use the setting spray to set this makeup look.

Because I wanted to create a dreamy evening look but without a too over the top feel I decided to use premium products but not go too brave with things like bottom lash mascara. I was trying to take this look from day to night. I wanted to wear this out but also not scare my prior meeting! Let me know if you like it and what products you love to use for a dinner out!
