Winter Munching… SourcedBox Review

Get a cup of tea and a snack because this post is going to be a long one! I do hope you enjoy it as I always get excited opening my monthly SourcedBox and the winter boxes have been outstanding so far. I’ve given a full review down below of the November box and a sneak peek into the December one for fun!

SourcedBox is a monthy healthy snacks subscription box and it contains all sorts of genius snacks that you can munch on whilst eating smart. I have discovered SO many new brands thanks to the box and it never fails to brighten up my month! It was set up by Marcus Butler and Niomi Smart who are YouTubers. You get about 10 items in each box and the surprise of waiting for what new products you are going to be introduced to is so exciting!

Here’s what was in the November Box…

Apple Crisps – Spare Fruit

I really like these air-dried apple slices. Being 100% natural, you have confidence in the healthiness of these. They taste delicious too and are so crisp!

Superfood Hot Chocolate – Bronte & Co.

Hot chocolate is SUCH a great winter food and yet a lot of supermarket ones have refined sugar in them. I love this one by Bronte as it is made from raw cacao with lucuma, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. It is delicious. If you wanted it sweeter I think a touch of maple syrup would be so yummy! A premium tasting treat!

Coconut Rawbite Bar – Rawbite

This snack bar is so great when on the go and needing a top up of energy. I LOVE coconut and so this bar is perfect for me. Again, another great addition from SourcedBox. It is raw, gluten free and organic. It only has natural sugars from fruit which is so lovely.

Slightly Peppered Coconut Curls – Ape Snacks

These coconut curls were incredible in my opinion! Such a unique idea to put pepper with coconut and it really does work! You need to try these. There is also a touch of cumin on them and there are no refined sugars. I think they are stunning.

Raw Chocolate Bar Pecan/Maca Flavour – Lovechock

This raw chocolate bar is so yummy. I love the almost bitter feel to the chocolate. It contains raw cacao, pecan nuts and the natural sweetener of maca. This is such a treat to have after a meal and it is miles better for you than a standard chocolate bar. You get more nutrients from the raw cacao as cocoa is the processed form and so this makes it a lot healthier without compromising on taste.

Coconut Milk & Vanilla Drink – Halo Coco

This drink was very light and refreshing. I really liked this and can imagine it would be amazing during summer too with some ice! The packaging was really cute too.

Zesty Lemon & Chia Seed Energy Balls – Raw Health

Having some energy balls to snack on is a great idea and these lemon and chia ones by Raw Health are great! They are nice and zingy from the lemon zest and give you that bit of energy without the sugar dip after. They are made from raw ingredients and contain no refined sugars.

Raw Chocolate & Activated Almond Spread – Raw Ecstasy

I loved this! This was perfect on toast or I can imagine it would work well with banana slices. The taste was incredible and another favourite of mine in this box!

Multigrain Porridge – Stoats

This porridge was nice and certainly made a nice breakfast on a cold winter morning. The ingredients included oats, barley flakes, rye flakes, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and linseeds. So this sachet was packed full of protein! The flavour was lovely too.

Sesame Sprinkles – Munchy Seeds

These seeds tasted moreish and a little like marmite coated seeds. Such a lovely thing to graze on and so much better for you than a packet of crisps!

December Box sneak peek…

The December box had a HUGE buzz about it online due to the creation of SourcedBox’s very own winter chocolate bar! I have to say, they have not underwhelmed as this box is truly exciting. I am really excited about trying the goodies inside and what better way to indulge in the Christmas spirit whilst feeding yourself sensible but gorgeous tasting foods! I have already tried the raw gingerbread and chocolate milk. Both are amazing and packed full of flavour!

I am hugely excited to try the chocolate bar produced by SourcedBox themselves as it looks outstanding. I wish they would make their own products all the time but it is a nice luxury at Christmas!
