Christmas Eve Pamper Evening

I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve already! I love spending time with my family over Christmas and for me the perfect Christmas Eve also involves pampering and winding down before the busy day of tomorrow. Most of my relaxing involves indulging in some beauty products.  But to start with, me and my family sit down to a nice meal, usually Salmon, which is so lovely. And then we will probably watch a film. After that my perfect pampering evening commences…

First of all to take off my makeup I will probably be using the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm that I got in my Beauty Advent Calendar. I have heard great things about it and can’t wait to use it. I think Christmas Eve is a great time to try out some little samples you have collected and really go all out on skincare!

The best pamper night includes a bath and a face mask.  I love the Origins Charcoal Mask and Lush Bath products. I also love using the Super Beauty Cranberry & Raspberry Bath & Shower Gel. My routine includes lighting candles and getting the bathroom all cosy.

When I get out of the bath I will slather myself in moisturiser such as  The Body Shop Shea Body Butter, followed by some peppermint foot cream, also from the Body Shop. When I have washed my hands and face I then give myself a facial. At the moment I am using my Bare Minerals Serum Essence, followed by the L’OCCITANE Eye Cream and moisturiser. I just love these products so much. They are the ultimate treat! I think if you are going to invest in something then let it be your face as you only get one!

To end the beautifying session, I love to paint my nails. I only do this when I have more time and so Christmas Eve is the perfect time to do this. I am looking forward to trying out this cranberry shade by Autograph as it is just so festive! I also treat myself to some lovely hand cream and cuticle oil to make my manicure perfect!

The best end to this pamper session includes a warm blanket, fluffy socks and some cosy pyjamas – utter bliss!

I really hope you have enjoyed Blogmas! It has been hard work but I have really enjoyed making festive blog posts and I have also got a chance to be more creative with my content! I have exciting things planned for next year on the blog so watch this space for changes and more content! Thanks for reading my blogs this Christmas and have a lovely day tomorrow!
