May 2017 Favourites

May has come and gone like lightning. We have had some gorgeous sunny days, a few bank holidays and lots to be thankful for. I have lots of great items this month. Here’s to my mix of beauty, food and lifestyle throughout the month of May.

Lifestyle

Rose Gold Headphones |Rock Space

Headphones are quite a standard purchase but when I replaced my recent faulty ones I fancied some a little prettier. I’m talking rose gold dreams and these are perfect for that. They are just stunning to look at and I really love the sleek rope design cable that doesn’t get all tangled inside your handbag. The ear pieces fit into your ear nicely and are extremely comfortable. The sound quality is also excellent!

Food

Olive Pouches | Oloves

I feel like I have mentioned these before somewhere but I have really been loving Oloves olive pouches. The olives are the perfect portion size and are nice and juicy. They are not covered in vinegar and the flavour combinations that Oloves work with are delicious. Definitely recommend these for a healthy snack!

Maca Lattes | Farmacy

I don’t know why I haven’t tried Maca lattes until recently and decided to venture into ordering one the other week. The drink was sweet and tasted slightly malty. I thought it was delicious and so will be ordering one again soon no doubt! This is a great alternative to coffee and tea as it has no caffeine in it.

Beauty

Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser | Liz Earle

I’m quite new to jump on the Liz Earle band wagon and recently tried their cleanser. I normally just use a standard face wash as my cleanser and whilst I can’t afford to buy this every month I thought I would treat myself for once. I am so impressed with it! My skin just loves it and my face is left feeling silky soft ready for the rest of my skincare routine. I need to repurchase this when I have the funds!

Frizz Miracle Shampoo | Aussie

I’m always on the look out for hair products that tame my hair. I have quite frizzy hair naturally and nothing seemed to work until in walks this Aussie shampoo. It’s bright blue appearance is quite satisfying from the extract of Australian Blue Gum Leaves. And my hair is noticeably less frizzy after using this. I just love this and it’s an affordable way to tame that barnet!

Superskin Concentrate | Liz Earle

Another Liz Earle discovery this month was their Superskin Concentrate. I bought this alongside the cleanser in a gift set and have been loving using it in my beauty routine upon travelling. It smells amazing and the roll on applicator is luxurious to use.

3

Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado | Kiehl’s

Lately I’ve been finding my under eyes have been getting dry and my makeup has been clinging to them. I started using this eye cream by Kiehl’s and have been noticing a smoother and more hydrated appearance. I just love this stuff and although it is a little greasy it nourishes my under eye area a treat. Definitely recommend if you suffer from dry skin.

4

Take The Day Off Makeup Remover | Clinique

Whilst away for a weekend I decided to use my sample of this Clinique makeup remover. I find I struggle to get my eye makeup off but this stuff seems to work a treat! It’s just so effective and I also love the colour of the bottle!
