June 2017 Skincare Routine

It’s been a couple of months since I posted my last skincare routine and so I thought I would give you a little update on products I’ve been loving and incorporating into my morning and evening routine. For me, skincare is a form of mindfulness and it is the perfect time of day where I can really have some me time and indulge in a little pampering. I love feeling fresh faced and when I apply my skincare I just feel a million times better.

Cleansing Routine

Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover | The Body Shop

Micellar Cleansing Water | Simple

Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser | Liz Earle

Clear Skin Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash | Simple

Honey & Oat 3-In-1 Scrub Face Mask (similar) | The Body Shop

This month has been really experimental in terms of cleansing. I’ve tried a gentle eye make-up remover from The Body Shop. It is really soothing and takes my eye makeup off slightly better than the Simple micellar water I have been using on the rest of my face. For a further cleanse I have been washing my face with the fabulous Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I couldn’t recommend this more for a silky soft skin feeling after. I have also been loving my Facemask Fridays and The Body Shop is one of my favourite brands for this.

Morning Moisturising Routine

Instant Boost Skin Tonic | Liz Earle

Skinlongevity Serum Essence | Bare Minerals

Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado | Kiehl’s

Global Protection Day Cream | Ren

I’ve always been a bit scared of toners as they can be a little drying to your skin. However, I really trust Liz Earle as a brand and this one does not contain any harsh alcohol in. Basically if you don’t know what a toner is, it helps your moisteriser do it’s job better and preps your skin. I have been loving soothing this over my face with a cotton wool pad before my usual Bare Minerals Serum Essence. I swear by this serum essence as it just hydrates my skin a little better. For my eye cream, I have switched it up and I am now using this Kiehl’s one enriched with avocado. It is seriously creamy and doing such a great job at hydrating my under-eye area. I haven’t changed my moisturiser as I love this one by Ren. So much love for Ren products!

Evening Moisturising Routine

Instant Boost Skin Tonic | Liz Earle

Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil | Clinique

Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado | Kiehl’s

Skin Repair Moisturiser | Liz Earle

Again I’ve been using my usual Liz Earle moisteriser for the evening time. This rich formula is just what I need at night time. I’ve also been using the skin tonic and the eye cream as above. However, I’ve tried to incorporate a nourishing treatment oil by Clinique into my evening routine and have been loving the results. My skin feels super silky and soft after applying it. Definitely impressed with this one.
