Blogmas Winter Skincare Routine

I have changed up a few skincare products over the winter months as I fancied trying out a few products I had in my beauty stash (you can see my previous skincare Routine here). I have been trialling a few gems and I thought I would mention them. This is the routine I have been following and all products are geared towards my sensitive skin. I hope you enjoy!

Cleansing Routine

Simple | Micellar Cleansing Water

Simple | Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash

Emma Hardie | Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm

St Ive’s | Invigorating Apricot Face Scrub

Ren | Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask

I have been removing my makeup using the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water. I found a couple of mini Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balms in my collection and rather than save them for a special occasion I thought I would use them as my night time cleanser (for my second cleanse). It made my skin feel all dewy and soft. The balm also smells incredible! In the mornings, I stuck to my Simple Face Wash as I just love it. I have mentioned the St Ive’s face scrub on here before and I have been enjoying using that as my exfoliator once every 2-3 days. I have also been using this as a scrub for my hands and it really works! For a weekly face mask, I have really been enjoying the Ren EverCalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask. This gives me the burst of moisture I need during winter.

Morning Moisturising Routine

Ren | Evercalm Anti-Redness Serum

Kiehl’s | Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado

Ren | Global Protection Day Cream

I have tried a new serum this month which is from the Evercalm range by Ren. It is quite a light serum and although a little sticky, my skin seems to like it! I have not changed my eye cream as Kiehl’s is just great for that. I have also stuck to the Ren Global Protection Day Cream for moisturiser.

Evening Moisturising Routine

Lumene | Valo Glow Boost Essence

Ren  | Evercalm Anti-Redness Serum

Kiehl’s | Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado

Charlotte Tilbury | Charlotte’s Magic Cream

My night time skincare has changed quite a bit as I wanted to try out some new products. I decided to introduce them gradually so I could find out if my skin liked them and luckily it did.  I talked about the Lumene Valo Glow Boost Essence in a previous blog here and said I would be trialling it. I do like the formula and only use a little amount as it contains hyaluronic acid. Applying this before my Ren Serum gives my skin a little boost through the winter months. There is no change to the eye cream as I use this in both my morning and evening skincare routines. However, I have been using the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream to finish off my night time ritual. Whilst I don’t see a vast difference from my L’Occitane Shea Ultra Rich Comforting Face Cream it is still a lovely moisturiser never the less. My skin seems to like it and my face is feeling well-nourished over the cold months.

I hope you enjoyed my Winter Skincare Routine. What products are you loving during the chillier days?
