Blogmas SourcedBox Review December 2017

SourcedBox is a healthy food subscription box that I subscribe to every month. Every December I look forward to their Christmas edition box and I thought I would share with you what was in this year’s. If you are new to SourcedBox then this is a great insight into what you are likely to find in a monthly box. Why not treat someone to a subscription for Christmas? It is great to find healthy snacks and they taste AMAZING! I will always be a SourcedBox fan!

WHAT WAS IN THE FESTIVE BOX…

Sunsoul | Wild Blackberry & Pear Drink | Combining spring water, natural sugars, fruit juice and botanicals this is a great drink! The flavour is amazing and one I would love to have again.

Biskgetz | Original Biscuits | These have an amazing flavour of cinnamon and nutmeg making them festive to the max! Although these taste amazing I was slightly disappointed when I read on the ingredients that they contained demerara sugar.

Naturya | Seed Superbar | There are so many great properties from this bar as it is packed full of 8 seeds. I am not a massive seed fan and so I didn’t like this bar but the health benefits are amazing!

The Bondi Kitchen | Cacao, Chia & Orange Bliss Balls | These were super yummy, moist and definitely something I would get again!

SourcedBox | Christmas Spice Chocolate Bar | I LOVED this bar last year and so I was so excited to see it back again! It is unbelievably tasty and made with such great ingredients!

SAF | Mint Chocolate Protein Bites | I wasn’t a fan of these. I was really looking forward to them but I’m not a huge fan of the flavour of hemp and it was quite strong in this.

Livia’s Kitchen | Raw Millionaire Bites | I am obsessed with these and have had them before! They are made from great ingredients like dates and I actually prefer to eat these than the sickly sweet more familiar millionaire shortbread we all know of.

Snact | Apple & Cinnamon Kick Banana Bar | I love Snact as a brand as their ethos is reducing waste including using compostable packaging. The flavour and texture of this bar was amazing!

Porshn | Berry Blend | This berry blend powder was so great and the inclusion of acai powder was lovely to see. I enjoyed having this in my acai bowl for breakfast!

Emily Crisps | Vegetable Crisps | I LOVE these. Again, I have tried these before but they are so yummy and perfectly moreish!

Elements For Life | Choc Omega Brownie | This brownie was soft and contained ingredients such as raw cacao powder, dates, goji berries and coconut chips. Whilst I didn’t like the addition of hemp seeds (I really dislike the taste of hemp), the flavour of hemp did not really come through which I was pleased about!

TOP THREE PICKS…

These three items were the ones that I loved the most from the box.

Porshn | Berry Blend

I love acai powder as it has so many amazing benefits such as it is high in antioxidants. The flavour is incredible too and this berry blend of acai, blueberry, camu camu berry and maqui berry tasted lovely! I enjoyed mixing this into my breakfast bowl!

SourcedBox | Christmas Spice Chocolate Bar

I love Christmas spice and I love chocolate and this bar ticks all of those boxes. The hint of spice is not overpowering and the cacao tastes so creamy yet intense. Nice to have this back this year!

The Bondi Kitchen | Cacao, Chia & Orange Bliss Balls

The Bondi Kitchen produce amazingly soft bliss balls and the combination of cacao and orange flavourings is perfect for Christmas!

Whilst I was a little disappointed that a few of the items contained hemp seeds, I thought this box still brought light into my December days! I loved the addition of the SourcedBox chocolate bar and some products had a very festive theme running through them! I am definitely going to be looking forward to my January box!
