Beauty Trials In February 2018

I love trying different beauty products and I have been really making an effort to have a serious beauty haul of my own items lately. I tend to forget what I have and with so many treats received over Christmas I had plenty to choose from, so beauty spending has been so low recently wahoo! I really encourage anyone to go through their miniatures or beauty hoard and find some goodies to try each month. Not only is it fun, it also makes you realise what you have and that means products are not sitting around unloved.

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive Dual Concentrate

I got this free sample size of the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive Dual Concentrate. It is a serum that packs a punch as it contains antioxidants to ease troubled skin. This sounds incredible and I am always looking to try different serums in my skincare routine. It claims to leave the skin radiant and smoother which sounds good to me. The product contains two formulas which you have to mix together by pushing and twisting the cap and shaking the two together. It says to use on problem skin days or when the skin needs a little boost. I think Winter is the best time to try this out in my evening skincare routine!

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream Concentrated Unscented

At the moment while typing, the cold weather is making my hands very dry and so I thought I would give this hand cream a go. I have tried Neutrogena hand creams before and they really work wonders, so I thought this unscented one sounded great for my sensitive skin. I can’t wait to try the rich thick formula.

L’Occitane Essential Oils Shampoo

I love a good L’Occitane product and I have so many mini shampoos. However, I rarely use my mini shampoos while away as I only wash my hair twice a week. Plus, hotels normally have some and for the sake of packaging extra luggage it makes sense to leave it behind. So, I have decided to use my mini shampoos at home and what better way to start than a nourishing L’Occitane one. My hair is so dry and frizzy, so I hope this soothes it and makes me look fabulous! The essential oils should help add a burst of silkiness to my barnet!

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack and My Real Squeeze Mask

My sister kindly gave me a few facemasks from Korean skincare brand Innisfree. I am so excited to try these as Korean skincare is meant to be amazing. The sleeping mask contains aloe and bija oil which sooth the skin. It is effectively an intense night cream which you wash off the next morning. I can’t wait for this. The other facemask is an aloe sheet mask which you apply after cleansing and toning. After leaving the sheet mask on for 10-20 minutes, you can pat any excess into the skin. I might also try following with a serum and eye cream on a pamper evening for added luxury!

Nuxe Prodigieux Precious Scented Shower Oil

I received this Nuxe shower oil in my 2017 advent calendar and I thought it would be nice to try it out this month. It claims to cleanse the skin leaving a satin finish. It is paraben and sulphate-free, contains luscious almond oil which is known for its moisturising properties, and features sweet orange oil.  I can’t wait to try this!
