My name is Sophie and I am passionate about baking and the violin. I also love beauty and fashion! I started this blog during 2015 after working as an ecommerce intern at Biscuiteers (a hand-iced boutique biscuit company). I enjoyed my work so much that my baking blog began…..
I’ve always enjoyed baking and am constantly watching Masterchef and cooking programmes. I’d say my favourite chef is Lorraine Pascale as she always makes things look so easy and elegant! I also love The Great British Bake Off and Mary Berry. Mary Berry reminds me of my gran, as she was a fantastic baker – especially considering she couldn’t cook an egg at the start of her marriage. She soon learnt and turned into a whizz in the kitchen.
I love creating something new and experimenting with different types of foods. I also love fruits and vegetables and it is not a chore to eat healthy food. That said, chocolate is always welcome in my life.
I also have a huge passion for the violin and have experience teaching it. I have a diploma on the violin but am constantly learning more techniques and growing as a player every day. I love learning and I think you can never get bored of musical instruments – they give you so much joy.
