Homemade Gift Tags

The last few years have turned into a bit of a tradition in terms of making my own Christmas gift tags! Me and my mum have been getting into the habit of saving last year’s Christmas cards and recycling them into something special! So, I carried on the tradition this year and made some from my 2015 cards!

It is so easy to do and you can create all kinds of different shapes and designs. If I have a really great card to work from I try to follow the design shape and cut around that. For example, my super cute snowman gift tag was created by using the snowman’s silhouette as a guide. I also use biscuit cutters to draw and cut out shapes of other cards which had a fairly neutral design. I love the gingerbread men and the stars especially this year!

Sketch London

A little festive secret lies in Conduit St, Mayfair – Sketch London. This beautiful festive Tardis is worth a look and is so magical inside! ….

The entrance is spectacular with frosty Christmas trees welcoming you. It even snows every 10 minutes! The glorious festive afternoon tea is worth exploring, especially the scones wrapped in blankets. The pink dining room is famous for its lavish charm. The toilets are also incredible with their sophisticated charm and elegant features! I loved the jewel like embellishments and enchanting music inside them ….

Festive Reds…

The classic red lip. This is a definite feature throughout December and I’ve picked 3 to talk about. You also can’t go wrong with a matching lip liner and I’ve featured 2 here that I’m enjoying at the moment. For me, I seem to prefer nudes and pinks to a bold lip but for that festive season I love looking a little more glam and sophisticated!

Winter Outfit Of The Day

It’s time for another outfit of the day post and this time I’ve found some cosy winter knits and jewels to sparkle through December. I love feeling cosy in the winter but I also like to try and look stylish. I find you can really elevate a look through accessories and so I have kept the clothes simple so that the accessories can enhance them rather than clash.
