September Favourites

September has been really great in terms of discovering new things. Autumn is now in full wing and the transition from summer was quite exciting. Although I loved summer, the heat in London was getting a bit too much for me and combining that with scorching tubes was just exhausting. I am so excited for snuggly evenings in, watching films and chilling out with my scented candles!

Here is what I have been loving recently…

Eat Smart

Its no surprise that this is one of my monthly favourites. I wrote a full review on this book here. The cooking book is full of healthy recipes that will just impress you no end. The dishes are packed full of flavour and the thought of filling myself with nourishing food is just fantastic! Here is a picture of one recipe I have made…..sneek peak!

Next Bag

I spotted this little Next gem unexpectedly in Oxford Street and I just had to get it. It was under £25 and has such a stunning design that looked far more expensive than its price tag! The cream and gold finish is perfect for an evening but also for a posh daytime bag. Absolute bargain. I love the scalloped edge to the bag too.

bareMinerals Skin Longevity

I wrote a full review on this product here. It is a serum essence and helps to reduce wrinkles, lines and smoothes skin. My skin really needed some hydration after the hot summer and this has really made my complexion vastly improved! I was battling skin issues but this has saved me!

Stila Eye and Cheek Palette

This stunning Stila eye and cheek palette never fails to impress me. It was a new purchase of mine and I just love the colours inside. The pinky brown hue to the eye shadows are gorgeous and the blushers to match are so softly pigmented. I was looking out for some better travel makeup that has a few core products in one place and this is brilliant! The packaging is also so beautiful and feminine.

Oat & Bilberry Cookies – The Beginnings

The September SourcedBox was definitely a winner throughout September! You can gather from my review that I thought the products in it were outstanding. It was hard to pick just one to talk about here but these Oat and Bilberry Cookies from The Beginnings were gorgeous. The taste did not suffer from them being more healthy and they were definitely better than some sugary biscuits I’ve had before. Melt in the mouth.

Hand Cream

Now that autumn is here, I am really needing a bit of hand cream back in my life! This Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream works wonders at making my hands feel soft and nourished again. I also love the smell!

5

Yankee Candle – Soft Blanket

I do love a good candle throughout the colder months and cosy evenings. This Soft Blanket Candle from Yankee Candle creates a fresh and comforting scent and is calming in the evening but not too pungent. The name is really cute and the scent helps me relax after a busy day.

Baths Again

Baths are really creeping back into my weekly routine right now. I went through a phase in summer of thinking a bath was the last thing I wanted to do on the scorching hot days. But now the weather is a bit cooler I can have my pamper bath spa days again! I love using a LUSH bath treat and chilling after a stressful day.

Ocado

Ocado has really been a lifesaver for me this month. Sometimes it can get a bit heavy carrying back food shopping from the supermarket and Ocado delivery just helps with that! Whats even better is that you can order things by price and so it is easier to budget too! In the shop it is sometimes hard to sift out the bargains. You can choose an hour delivery slot and so there is not too much waiting around. I also love the variety of produce you can find that some shops don’t stock. Take oven bottom muffins for example. So nice to toast for breakfast or have as a bread roll for lunch. But have you heard of them? Ocado sell them….Google them!
