Date Night Reinvented

Breakfast Is The New Date Night….

These days so many of us are swapping that date night out for a leisurely date breakfast or brunch. With budgeting of time and money so common during the week amongst us millennials, the weekend is where we can enjoy a lazy start and a relaxed morning. For me, breakfast out is one of my favourite things to do, followed by a calming walk outside. I think breakfast can be such an exciting meal too with both hot, cold, sweet and savoury options. Breakfast out can be so deluxe too and what a great way to start the day than fuelling up on delicious and nourishing choices.

I get so excited about reading breakfast menus. I love cooked eggs, especially poached with avocado. Pancakes are also a lovely thing to have out. As are smoked salmon and crepes. The choices are endless! You can also start your day with a healthy smoothie or artisan coffee. Recently I went to the Orangery at Kensington Palace and enjoyed a delicious speciality tea with my food. It tasted divine and looked so elegant. It was cheaper than going out for dinner and yet the whole experience felt so luxurious and pampering. I also didn’t get tired as it was day time and still had an evening at home to watch films!

This Valentine’s day, why not celebrate by having breakfast out? If not before work, why not the weekend before or after? You won’t be charged astronomical prices for that Valentine’s themed evening either. I’ve chosen 5 stunning London eateries that I love below for you to investigate. If you don’t live in London then I’m sorry but wherever you are there are bound to be endless places of interest. Chain restaurants I love to go to include Loch Fyne, Café Rouge and Carluccio’s.

Breakfast has always been my favourite meal and this is such a nice way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Especially after a really cosy night in when you wake up early feeling refreshed. This post is making me super hungry hehe. London is just full of these chic little brunch places but I’m going to look out for a few more here in the south ☺️ Just wish Dave wasn’t working this week as it would be a lovely little treat. Lovely post as always! xxx

Thank you! Aww I love breakfast too! Maybe you could persuade Dave to have a cheeky early breakfast out or leisurely one at the weekend ?! There are loads of cute places in Westborne and Wimborne if you are after something near you! I also love Deli on the Quay in Poole. There is also a new cafe in Poole park which loads fab for breakfast! xxx

All of these look amazing but the waffles look especially good. I always love looking at breakfast menus too and going out for breakfast/brunch- I could eat those kinds of foods for every meal easily!
