June 2017 Favourites

June has been a month of ups and downs for me. One highlight was my birthday trip to Brighton which was so relaxing. I hope you enjoyed reading about my trip in one of my recent blogs. I’m hoping July will be a little less stressful though as we have had to deal with a few flat issues, amongst starting our search to find somewhere else to live. I’ve found some great favourites though this month – items to add that bit of sparkle into my day when things have become a little too much. I love all these choices so much and I think they represent perfect summer vibes.

Black Tea Selection Pack

I recently strolled into this amazing tea shop called T2 and as I had never tried any teas before I thought I would treat me and my boyfriend to some “tea selfies”. These individual loose tea T2 Flavoured Black Tea Selfies  are perfect for trying out different flavours of tea. We are more black tea people and so I opted for that box (but there are all sorts of selection packs if you prefer other flavours). I’ve been enjoying having a more luxurious cup of tea as the occasional treat. Each selfie makes 2 cups of tea so they are perfect for me and my boyfriend to share.

SPF Face Cream

I’ve been loving using SPF on my face and this Ultrasun Face 30 SPF one is so lovely. It isn’t greasy and I have more confidence that my face is protected from dangerous sun rays whether summer or winter. I’ve definitely loved the formula of this one and will definitely be adding it to my top face SPF creams.

Lightweight Foundation

During the summer months, I much prefer a lighter foundation formula on my face. This MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation is such a great coverage, yet it is light and feels divine on my face. It is perfect for giving that even toned complexion without becoming too heavy. I feel like my skin can breathe that little bit more when I apply this.

Moisturising Hand Wash

I’ve actually been using Baylis & Harding Jojoba, Silk & Almond Oil Cream Hand wash hand wash for so long as I can remember now and I have just failed to mention it on my blog. However, I really believe that it is important to have a great hand wash by your sink. I suffer from eczema and dry hands and when I stay in other places and use harsher hand soaps I really notice the difference. This hand wash may look expensive but it is actually one of the cheapest per 100ml. So, it’s completely a no brainer purchase for me! It also looks pretty in the bathroom.

Natural World Shampoo

I tried out this shampoo sample I received at a blogger event and was so impressed with it. The Natural World Argan Oil of Morocco Moisture Rich Shampoo is so moisturising on my hair and yet it contains 95% natural ingredients. If a natural shampoo can do the job just as well as a regular one then I am definitely converted. They sell this brand at Tesco too and it isn’t too expensive compared to more premium offerings.

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer

The Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer has been such a great discovery for me and pairing this with a great eye cream (my favourite is Kiehl’s) is the perfect combination to battle my dry under eye area. I just love the lightness of this formula and it is great for making my eyes look slightly more awake. I’m a huge fan of this.
