Trying Out My Beauty #8

I love raiding my beauty collection and choosing some products to try. It is so easy to forget the little beauty miniatures we own and I find the whole process of choosing some items to try so exciting. I try to not introduce too many new skincare products all at once but spread it over a few weeks to see which products my skin reacts to well. I hope you enjoy these picks.

Dr. Bronner’s All-One Hemp Rose Pure-Castile Bar Soap

This gentle soap sounds interesting with the sweet rose scent. I am not a huge fan of the smell of hemp oil but this apparently makes the hands smooth and hence less dry. I am interested to try this. I have a few miniatures of these so I am keen to see if they are good.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum Correcting Complexion

I just love Caudalie as a brand and their skincare is always very delicate on my skin. This serum sounds lovely and hopefully I will love using it. The formula claims to lighten dark spots and brightens the skin for radiance.

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream

I have wanted to try this moisturiser for quite some time and so I was excited to get my hands on a sample of this via online shopping. This rich and creamy moisturiser is meant to be great for dehydrated skin. This is perfect for the up and coming winter month’s. The cream also claims to be firming and great for reducing lines. I also love the fact that is contains broad-spectrum sun filters. I can’t wait to try this!

Lumene Valo Glow Boost Essence

I visited the pop up Feel Unique Christmas shop which was open to the public and I received this goody bag featuring this luxurious serum. It contains a boost of vitamin C which is great for the skin. It is meant to be super hydrating and it also features two types of Hyaluronic Acid for a more youthful-looking glow. This sounds amazing and will hopefully be a great addition to my skincare routine.

Clinique All About The Eyes Corrector In Medium Patel

I think I repurchased the wrong shade for my skin tone and so whilst I used to love using this as a corrector under my eyes, the new one I purchased may be a little too dark. I think if I am not going to use it I may give it to a friend as it is brand new and hasn’t been used. It is either “use it or declutter” unfortunately. Hopefully someone will be able to enjoy the luxury instead.

Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels

I got this in a free gift with an online purchase and I can’t wait to try it! I am in need of pampering session at the moment and these eye gels sound perfect. They are rated highly online and in the blogging world so hopefully I will like these!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Hot Lips Miranda May

I am yet to try any Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks and I think this mini sample of the beautiful and bright coral pink lipstick is perfect. I just love the fact that I can try this without purchasing the full version and I might wear it on my next date night.

Do you enjoy discovering different beauty products?

I love discovering new things. If I had to choose something to try from this list, it would be the glow boost essence. I’ve already tried the cooling eye gels and they were lovely and relaxing after a long day. I have a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick but in a different colour and they’re definitely luxurious! I did try the magic cream and to be honest, I didn’t like it very much, so I was glad it was only a sample! Would love to know what you think.

I completely agree with trying new beauty products. Sample sizes / free gifts are great as there is no regret trying them! I really loved the colour payoff on the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick as I tried it the other day. I haven’t tried the magic cream yet but that is interesting that you didn’t get on with it. I am intrigued by it now! So glad you liked the eye cooling gels! I am in need of some pampering on the eyes as I am not sleeping well at the moment! Thank you for reading!

I ordere a couple of eye products from The Body Shop and am looking forward to trying them out.Maybe some lavender oil would help too with the sleeping? With the CT cream, I ended up with a really sticky shiny face – so definitely less is more!

Hehe I will try using less. I often find that with some moisturisers it’s best to use less than more so not to clog up the pores! Ooh The Body Shop have great products. Let me know if you write a review! Lavender oil is a great idea! I love using a lavender pillow spray too although I have been forgetting to use it lately so maybe I will get back into that!

Sometimes oils get on my nerves because they come out really fast, but L’Occitane do a roll-on one, which is the smartest packaging I’ve come across because you don’t waste any!
