October 2019 Favourites

October has been busy for me! My sister had her dream wedding in Greece, I survived facing my fears and caught a plane for the first time in 7 years, me and my boyfriend completed on the purchase of our first property together…. It was quite an exciting, stressful, lovely and hectic month…. Normally my months are not this eventful, but I had to fill you in on all the drama! Getting back to the blog, this month I have some food and beauty favourites to share with you. I love letting you know what I have been truly enjoying and what products I would honestly recommend. I guess it is a great way to share amazing discoveries and not just enjoy them alone. I hope you try these and enjoy them too, as much as I have done!

FOOD…

Peakz Crunchy Hazelnut Chocolate Squares

I may have mentioned this amazing sweet treat snack before, but this is the perfect little pick me up when you need an edible hug. There is less sugar than the average sweet treat and these moreish chocolate bites contain vitamin B12. They are way to tasty to share…

Cadbury Heroes Chocolate Treat Bag

For my boyfriend’s birthday I did little party bags as I thought it would be cute ha-ha. I must admit having a little mini sized chocolate bar is just what you need some days to satisfy those chocolate cravings without spoiling dinner!

Vego White Almond Bliss

The Vego chocolate range is just amazing if you are looking to try plant-based options for eating. I wish vegan chocolate was slightly cheaper, but it is a luxury product after all, and it helps us eat it in moderation. This almond white bar is just so creamy and melts in the mouth. Yummy!

BEAUTY…

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

I have been wanting to try this setting powder for absolutely ages to make sure my under-eye concealer does not crease so much and stays put. I decided to treat myself to this for my sister’s wedding and it was worth the purchase! You only need to use a small amount, so I think this will last me for a very long time. I tapped a little into the lid, swirled my brush around until the powder had disappeared, tapped the brush on the lid to remove excess and then tapped any areas of makeup I wanted to set. It worked so well, and I would highly recommend it.

Sukin Signature Hand And Nail Cream

At the moment, the winter constantly battles with my sore hands and I have to up my hand cream game even more. This Sukin cream smells so calming, and it instantly soothes my hands. I love all the natural ingredients and it is definitely a treat in my Autumn / Winter skincare routine.

Skin Island Berry Lip Fix

I have never really suffered from really dry lips before but lately the cold has made my face more sensitive. I had this lip balm from my beauty stash and starting using it to help. It instantly helps with any cracks or dryness I have. I will be applying it more often now. The applicator is really easy to use too.

Clinique All About The Eyes Cream

Clinique are a brand I just love, and their skincare products make my skin feel all plump and juicy. This eye cream is so silky and instantly gives my under-eye area that much needed hydration at the moment. I love it, and the packaging is also pretty cute!

What do you think of these products? Do you have any favourites at the moment to share? Let me know in the comments!
