Blogmas Day 24… December 2018 Favourites

Blogmas is nearly over but what a great way to end it with a favourites blog post, featuring all the things that have made me happy this December. I feel like it it’s been an amazing month and December often goes so fast. I really love the run up to Christmas and all the festive feelings from good food and Christmas décor. I really hope you enjoy my favourites!

FOOD

Tea Pigs Everyday Brew Biodegradable Tea Temples

If you like strong tea like me, you will love these tea temples. What I love even more about this is the biodegradable nature of the tea bags. It is so much better for the environment.

Moo Free Milk Chocolate

I used this chocolate to coat my Chocolate And Hazelnut Vegan Bites I made for my blog and it just tasted amazing. I couldn’t believe this was vegan and I’d definitely recommend this to anyone thinking vegan chocolate couldn’t be tasty.

BEAUTY

M&S Beauty Advent Calendar

Again, this year’s M&S beauty advent calendar was incredible. I treated myself to it and at £35 is was an absolute bargain as the contents are worth so much more. I can’t wait to try all the goodies in it, and it is a great way to stock up on beauty items without spending an absolute fortune. I would really recommend this for next year if you want to treat yourself to something lovely to open during advent. They do sell out fast so be quick to purchase one next Christmas if you love the sound of this!

Burt’s Bees Almond & Milk Hand Cream

My hands get so dry and cracked from the harsh winter air, so a thick hand cream is just what I need. This smells heavenly and is nice and pampering on the skin. It is a little greasy, so I apply it at night time before bed.

Clinique Even Better Foundation

I’ve been using this foundation for years, but I hadn’t been reaching for it as much until lately. I’ve really been enjoying wearing a little more coverage during winter and it just makes my skin look so dewy and more even.

LIFESTYLE

Paperchase Cards

I’ve loved sending eco-friendly charity Christmas cards this year and the ones we purchased from Paperchase we such great quality as well as being better for the environment. The ones we bought are made from recycled paper and can be recycled. Plus, you are contributing some of the profits towards deserving charities – absolutely fantastic! They will also make great Christmas gift tags next year.

Book – One Day In December

After reading some great reviews for this Christmas story book by Josie Silver, I decided it would be a lovely idea to read a festive book during winter. It is really uplifting, and I just love to read before bedtime to help relax. I would really recommend this book!

Book – Cordially Invited

I was so excited to receive my pre-ordered Cordially Invited book written by Zoe Sugg. If you are a huge Zoella fan like me, then you will love this. However, it’s still great for people that aren’t as familiar with her YouTube Videos. I love how this book takes you through the seasons and guides you to become the ultimate host. I just love to read about activities to do and recipes for things to make throughout the year. I am saving the Spring and Summer sections to read when the weather gets warmer.

Reusable Wrapping Paper

Oh wow, this brand is amazing. Wrag Wrap do reusable wrapping paper, reusable gifting bags and many more sustainable products to help with the gift-wrapping experience. I heard about this brand from a Niomi Smart YouTube Video and it is just such a good idea! I love the little gift tag holder that you can attach to the parcel with the string provided. There is also no need for tape as the string holds the wrapping in place. And the paper I bought is reversible. The quality is so great, and I really love this brand. You need to check out this company for future birthday and Christmas present wrapping ideas.

FASHION

Beret Hat

I love wrapping up warm and this grey beret I got from TK Maxx by Cynthia Rowley is so chic and simple. It is perfect to complete your layers of warmth and I’m just really enjoying wearing hats and scarves at the moment.
