Café Marmalade Brighton

Café Marmalade in Brighton is tucked away on the outskirts of Brighton. It is an adorable little place to take friends and family to. I went on a mini break to Brighton recently and we decided this would be the ideal place to stop off on our way home back to London. With the likes of Zoella big fans of this place, I knew it was going to be amazing…

When you walk inside you are greeted with smiles of friendly staff and arrays of cakes and other baked items. I would describe the menu as rustic chic and there is something to suit everyone. From dippy eggs to granola bowls I really couldn’t decide what to order. In the end I went for a decaffeinated cappuccino and banana bread topped with berries and yogurt. It was absolutely delicious, and it looked so fresh and pretty when they brought it to the table. My boyfriend had rarebit which he said was the best rarebit he had tasted. This was quite a compliment! You can see for yourself from the photos how stunning the food was and trust me the eating was even better…

Across the road was their little shop. We just had to pop in! They sold chocolates to baked croissants and deli items. I bought a lemon meringue pie croissant and some little chocolate eggs as a token to take home from our trip. It was the perfect way to finish our visit to Brighton.
