Slow Sundays

Sundays are my favourite day of the week. There’s something nice about a Sunday. It just takes a slower pace in my opinion. It is so important in this busy world that we take a calmer approach on life and if we can manage that 1 day a week then our lives will be happier and simpler.

Sundays Are For Taking Your Time

Spend time on the things you love but also take your time. Living at a more relaxed pace can be so fulfilling. The sense of not being rushed is priceless. Live in the moment and achieve how much or how little you want to. If you want to spend 2 hours reading a book, then do so! If it takes you 3 hours to cook a meal because you are making something more adventurous then let yourself.

Detaching From Technology

We are all spoilt of the constant flow of technology these days and are forever on our phones and laptops. Why not live old school for some of the day and go for walks, play board games, get crafty and upcycle things, or catch up with friends for a coffee?

My Perfect Sunday

My perfect Sunday involves having a mini lie in and more relaxed get up, sipping coffee or tea with a leisurely breakfast (maybe more adventurous like pancakes or a smoothie bowl), getting outside, watching a film, cooking something delicious, doing some pampering such as a facemask, having a little declutter or mini tidy / clean, taking time to “be in the moment”, reading a magazine or book…. There are so many things we can take time for on a Sunday.

What are your perfect things to do on a Sunday? Do you build in a slow Sunday every now and again?
