June 2019 Favourites

I LOVE reading other people’s favourites blogs as it shows what exactly they have been loving each month. I’ll keep writing them for this reason as I also love to share my own. I hope you still like them! This month has been quite successful for beauty favourites especially so let’s get started!

FOOD…

Waitrose Spanish Red Mellow and Fruity Wine

Me and my boyfriend don’t really drink a lot of alcohol but we occasionally enjoy some red wine at the weekend! I’ve always been wary of cheaper wines as they are not always great, however this Waitrose red wine at around £5 is great value and so tasty!

Waitrose Wholewheat Biscuits

I’ve been loving this for breakfast lately. I used to have warm Weetabix when I was little as my comfort food and this brings back memories. I love having it cold these days with almond milk or normal milk. These Waitrose ones are much cheaper than the brand leader version and taste so good!

LIFESTYLE…

The Happy News by Emily Coxhead

I heard about The Happy News from social media and fell in love with the concept. I bought the June edition and it features some uplifting articles. It is a great bedtime read and I am going to donate it to my mum after I have finished reading it to share the happy vibes!

BEAUTY…

Beauty Pie Plantastic Hand Cream

I signed up to a 3-month subscription to Beauty Pie and as part of the things I tried this hand cream was lovely. Beauty Pie is a brand that sells great quality products at factory prices because they cut out the middle people and sell it at affordable levels. Whilst I resented the fact that I was committed to 3 months after signing up, I do actually think their products are great. You have to pay for a monthly subscription of £10 per month but this hand cream was worth it. It blends into the skin nicely and smells amazing. It is made with natural ingredients and does not contain nasty things like parabens and sulphates.

Ouai Medium Hold Hair Spray

I’ve been really enjoying using this Ouai hair spray lately. The hold is really good, and the formula is not too clingy when brushed out. It sprays really evenly and feels nice when on. The packaging is also so sophisticated and streamline!

Simple Biodegradable Cleansing Wipes

I was so excited when I discovered Simple had released affordable and biodegradable makeup removal wipes. When I am away from home, I just find wipes a lot easier, but I hate the fact that a lot of them are not biodegradable. The ones are gentle on my skin and they really do the job. I’m a convert!

Percy & Reed Wonder Overnight Recovery

This overnight hair mask really leaves my hair feeling silky soft afterwards. It also dries so that the pillow does not get any product on. I love this! London can make hair so dry and this is a lifesaver product for this reason.

Dr Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Eye Perfect Instant Wrinkle Filter Eye Cream

I do love a good eye cream and this natural ingredients one is so hydrating. I have really dry under eyes and this really makes me feel good after using it. It is not too expensive either at around £10.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

I got given this cleansing oil for Christmas and it is really great at removing my makeup, leaving my skin silky soft and not irritating my skin. I just love how gentle and moisturising it is. A little also goes a long way. I usually use 2 pumps for my whole face to take off my makeup at the end of the day. This product is great and really suits my sensitive and dry skin.

Have you tried any of these products before?
