Morning Skincare Routine

It’s been a while since I did a skincare routine on my blog. So, I thought I would keep you updated on what I have been currently using. I like to stick to products I know my skin will like and I have sensitive and dry skin. Skincare is so important to maintaining a healthy-looking complexion. I also find it really relaxing and it is my little moment of the day to pamper myself. It doesn’t take long so upping your skincare could be just the idea, especially being at home more this year. I am also wearing less makeup at the moment and I think that makes my skin better too. Another thing I do is drink a lot of water. Let me know if you have used any of these products or like the sound of them in the comments section below! Let’s get started…

Sukin Original Hydrating Mist Toner

This is my first step in my skincare routine. I was a little apprehensive about toners as I didn’t get on with them in the past, but this one by Sukin is just lovely. It is calming and I spray a little on the palms of my hands to pat onto my face. It is really refreshing too. It just helps to balance the skin. Sukin is a really nice natural brand that I love to use and I particularly like their hand cream also. Their prices are also reasonable. The ingredients of this toner include camomile and rosewater. So gentle on sensitive skin!

Pure Natural Radiance Eye Cream

Pure is found on Marks & Spencer’s website and I couldn’t be happier with this eye cream at the moment. It is so affordable and yet ticks all the boxes. It is hydrating, natural, comes in great packaging that is easy to apply (I much prefer using pots to squeezy tubes). It also doesn’t contain any nasty parabens. I am definitely going to repurchase this again. I love using this as my next step. I apply a small amount under my eyes and just above using my ring fingers.

Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream

I wouldn’t say this cream was light as it has a thick consistency. But this is perfect for winter at the moment. It is so smooth and silky like in texture.  The main ingredients are beautifully hydrating as some are avocado oil, manuka flower, macadamia oil and jojoba oil. This is a seriously pampering cream that I adore to apply in the mornings.

So, that’s it. My skincare routine for the morning. One step I didn’t mention is SPF which I apply afterwards. Some days I don’t apply it, but I mostly do as I don’t want to age prematurely. I’ll be sharing my evening skincare routine soon so keep your eyes peeled for that! I hope you enjoyed this blog and I hope it brought a little happy moment to your day!
