I have another overnight oats recipe for you! I am obsessed with this simple breakfast at the moment. It also feels like such a treat! Overnight oats are so easy to make, and your future self will be so grateful for the pre planning in the fridge. Just grab it in the morning and serve! So easy! I love to make things ahead of time as mornings can be busy otherwise. You can add so many different combinations to your base of oats. And there are so many variations with different types of dairy and plant based milks. You can also use fruit juice as your liquid instead, diluted with water. The possibilities are endless. For this recipe, I have kept it a classic of chocolate and vanilla. By soaking the cacao nibs overnight, they become all soft and yet they still have a texture to them. Sometimes cacao nibs can be a bit crunchy for the teeth so soaking them is the perfect way to eat them in my opinion. The rich bitterness compliments the sweet oats, milk and vanilla perfectly. Hope you enjoy!
- Put all the ingredients in an airtight container and mix well.
- Put the lid on the container and fridge overnight.
- Serve into 2 bowls and top with your favourite toppings. I love fresh berries, banana, yogurt, or chocolate spread. So many options!
