Beauty Haul

I decided to do a little beauty haul… Whilst I have been trying to use up my current beauty products there were some items I needed to replace and so I thought it would be nice to discover a few different things I hadn’t tried before. There are a mix of things I’ve heard about and others that had great reviews online so I thought they were worth getting hold of. Here are the purchases I made…

1

Nivea Luxurious Shower Silk Mousse

I saw this pampering shower item and I thought I would treat myself. Normally I buy Nivea or Dove shower gel when it is on offer. It is normally on offer somewhere and it is really good! Although I buy moisturising shower gels I felt like treating my skin that little bit extra with a in shower mousse. For days where I don’t have time to moisturise in the morning, this sounded perfect! It contains essential oils and is pH balancing. It promises to give you silky soft skin and this sounds amazing!

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser For Dry/Sensitive Skin

I’m very loyal to my L’Occitane Ultra Rich Comforting Face Cream but I am always on the look out to find other great products which suit my skin type. I love using a rich face cream at night and so this Liz Earle one sounded just right! So far I’ve really enjoyed using Liz Earle products and after using this for a few days my skin seems to like it! It is also slightly cheaper than the L’Occitane one. I do love the texture and creaminess of the L’Occitane cream and it isn’t as sticky as the Liz Earle one but my skin does feel well-nourished after so I am overall very impressed with the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser.

Pitrok Crystal Natural Deodorant Stick

I’ve been really into discovering more natural beauty products and whilst I will never fully convert to this type of beauty, I love the thought of only putting natural products into my bloodstream. The PitRok Crystal Stick is based on pure mineral salts and is suitable for sensitive skin. There are no parabens and no other nasties such as Aluminium. The product is not tested on animals which is lovely to hear. The product is fragrance free so I’m intrigued as to how that will keep odour at bay but this product sounds great! You do have to apply it straight after the shower when your pores are wet so I will have to remember to do that. Let me know if you want any updates on what I think of this product when I start using it?

Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil

I fancied trying out a new serum and this Clinique Turnaround Treatment Oil looked incredible. It promises to be light but nourishing and promotes plumped and radiant skin. My skin is sensitive and dry so this sounds right up my street. This would be a great evening oil for those dehydrated skin days.

6

LUSH Avobath Bath Bomb

I love LUSH bath products and the Avobath Bath Bomb sounded divine. The lemongrass and bergamot oils make a nice change from my more relaxing bath flavour choices. The nourishing avocado and olive oils are also perfect for dry skin like mine. I can’t wait to try this out in a morning or refreshing evening bath.
