Current Skincare For Spring

It’s been quite a while since I did a Skincare Routine on here! However, skincare is a huge passion of mine and so I thought it would be interesting to let you know what I’ve been using lately in my routine. It’s worth noting that I have dry and sensitive skin so if you have a similar skin type then these products are for you! Let’s get started…

Cleansing

For taking off my makeup I’ve been loving using the Soap & Glory The Ultimelt Deep Purifying Hot Cloth Cleanser with a face cloth. This works beautifully. To second cleanse I use the Simple Face Wash for sensitive skin (which I also wash my face in the morning with).

Morning Routine

After my morning shower, I’ve been applying the Innisfree Olive Real Essential Face Oil. This has felt silky soft on my skin and adds a glowy hydration.  I next dot some eye cream gently under my eye area using my ring fingers. I’ve been loving the Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream for a soothing natural cream. My next step is moisturiser. I always go back to L’Occitane for their gentle and comforting face creams. The one I use in the morning is the 5% Light Shea Butter one. My final step is SPF. I apply this every day (even during winter). My favourite one which doesn’t feel sticky is the Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced Face Cream SPF 50+. It is amazing for both UVA and UVB protection. Sun cream is an essential step in not only protecting our skin but also for reducing early ageing.

Evening Routine

My evening routine is much the same, but I first apply a Pixi Glow Tonic to give my face a little more rejuvenation. It’s the only toner I’ve found that doesn’t upset my skin. I love how refreshing this is. I apply the same oil and eye cream after this. For face cream however, I use a richer night cream. I love the L’Occitane 25% Shea Butter Cream for evening time. I also don’t apply SPF as it’s night time!

I really hope you enjoyed my skincare routine. I’d be so interested into what you think of it! Let me know in the comments below!
