Summer is the time of year where fashion gets exciting and I’ve always wanted some classic white dresses in my wardrobe to wear year after year. Fast fashion is a hot topic at the moment, and I think we need to be more conscious about what we buy and how we wear our clothes. I want my outfits to be worn with pride and I really want to wear things that make me feel good. I’ve never been one to really follow “trends” but the white dress and broderie look is never going to go out of style.
What stood out to me about this dress is its unique design. I love clothes that are not the same as everyone else. Little features like the cut-out detail around the waist is so pretty. The design is elegant and yet looks really youthful at the same time. Broderie is just so beautiful in my opinion. Even little design details like the perfectly shaped capped sleeves give this dress something else. I also appreciate the bow at the front of the dress can be tightened so you can make it fit perfectly. Sometimes I find tops too baggy at the top, so this is great!
I’ve kept the accessories quite simple with this dress and paired it with my cute little neutral bag from Dune. I bought the bag a few years ago but I will try and find dupes in the links below. For jewellery I think this pearl beaded necklace sits so well in the neckline. My mini pearl earrings add a subtlety to the look too. I’m not a massive high heels fan so these brown flats are just the best for comfort with style.
I hope you like this outfit post. I haven’t done one in a while, but I thought this dress was too gorgeous not to feature! It is definitely worth the quality price point in my opinion. I think we should be buying clothes to last rather than more fast fashion lead pieces.
