Beauty Trials September 2019

I think it is time for another trialling new beauty blog post! September is a great time to get more creative in the beauty world and I thought I would investigate the treasures I already own to be a little bit savvier this month. I also love to discover new things and so I am excited to shop my own beauty. There are some really lovely things I have picked out and I can’t wait to show you them!

Beauty Pie Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser

I had a Beauty Pie subscription for a few months and whilst I really enjoyed buying products on there at factory prices, I didn’t want to be committed every month. However, I still have a few items I purchased whilst I was paying the monthly cost and so I am excited to use them over the next few months. Their products are actually lovely and really great quality in my opinion. This cleanser looks dreamy and I am enjoying removing my makeup this way at the moment with a warm face cloth. Not only is it more sustainable than using face wipes, it feels more luxurious. This cleanser is an “antioxidant-infused high-tech gel-to-oil-to-milk cleansing balm” and that sounds dreamy! It is suitable for sensitive skin and it does not contain parabens, fragrance, sulphates, phthalates and lots of other nasties! Big tick so far from me!

Love Beauty And Planet Shower Gel

I picked this up the other week because I really want to get more into sustainability. This brand has great values. The bottles are made out of 100% recycled materials and the company ethically source the gorgeous shea nuts for Ghana and Burkina Faso, providing farming work for the community. The formula is vegan, paraben free, silicone free and made using natural ingredients.

ECooking Hand Cream

I do love a good hand cream and this one looks so luxurious! The formula is so soothing and creamy with chamomile extract, marigold extract, almond oil, apricot seed oil, sesame oil, Jojoba oil and Aloe Vera. Just the ingredients list sound dreamy! This cruelty-free product is also vegan, natural, organic and paraben-free.

Tea Tree Oil

The summer has played havoc with my skin and I’m hoping a little tea tree oil may come in useful here! Tea tree oil has antibacterial properties and is meant to reduce inflammation. It is perfect for things like bites and blemishes.

Aveeno Daily Moisturising After Shower Mist

I have heard great things about Aveeno and their gentle moisturising formulas. Sometimes time is precious, and I am hoping this will speed up my morning post shower routine. Aveeno is apparently perfect for dry and sensitive skin, which I have, so I’m so excited to try this!

Have you tried any of these beauty products before?
